My Story
With a curious mind with a strong foundation in data science, I am experienced in data cleaning, data analytics, data visualization, data modeling, data management, artificial intelligence (AI), mathematics, statistical analysis, pattern recognition, technical documentation, feature engineering, predictive analytics, and machine learning.
I have demonstrated proficiency in machine learning methods such as linear models (linear regression, multiple linear regression, logistic regression, ridge and lasso), supervised learning (decision trees, random forest, naive Bayes, support vector machines, neural networks), and unsupervised learning (K-means, K-modes, hierarchical clustering, association rule mining, Latent Dirichlet Allocation).
I have natural curiosity for people and how the world works, and enjoy using text analysis to uncover insights from large volumes of data.
I have a strong interest in using data science to solve real-world problems. I enjoy exploring new approaches and techniques to gain deeper insights from data, and have a keen eye for identifying patterns and trends.
Beyond tech, I tended bar to earn money for school and to build my communications skills. I am a musician who plays electric bass, keyboards, and saxophone. I am part time rancher with a tiny hand-fed herd of cows. I travel and recently rode a motorcycle 1000 miles across Vietnam.
