Rode a motorcycle on the remote Ho Chi Minh Trail/Road in the central highlands of Vietnam along the border with Laos and in the mountainous Ha Giang Province near China.

Studied Japanese culture and society and the Japanese production system with emphasis on the Toyota Production System and lean management. Experienced an earthquake.

Playing for fun. Worked at a music venue in San Antonio, Texas.
